Every Pure Aqua install comes with a 10-year insurance-backed guarantee underwritten by Retramax — a specialist IBG provider. The cover continues for the full 10 years regardless of what happens to Pure Aqua as a business.

WHAT'S COVERED

10 years. Clear language. No moving targets.

What we cover

  • All parts and labour on the softener unit
  • The bypass valve, hoses and drain connection we installed
  • Water damage to flooring or cabinetry caused by an install fault
  • Engineer call-outs for warranty work — no charge
  • Replacement softener if the unit fails irreparably
  • Full transfer of cover if you sell the home (within Oxfordshire)

The Purer Aqua difference

  • Wear and tear on consumables (salt, resin past year 5)
  • Damage from frozen pipes, flooding, or external water failure
  • Modifications made by anyone other than Pure Aqua or an approved engineer
  • Pre-existing plumbing issues identified at the survey but not addressed
  • Cosmetic wear to the unit casing or accessories

At install

Pure Aqua pays Retramax a one-off premium for your unit. You receive a certificate by email within 48 hours.

Years 1–10

Any covered issue — call us first. We typically resolve under our own labour. If we don't or can't, the IBG kicks in.

If Pure Aqua exits the market

Retramax instructs an approved engineer at no cost to you. The cover continues unchanged.
